Criteria for Playing at the 4.0+ Courts

USOP National Pickleball Center has well defined guidelines for play at the 4.0+ courts. The purpose and intent is to maintain a standard of high level of play that is in everyone's best interest. Any member or guest may self-rate up to the 3.5 level.

To be rated 4.0 or higher at NPC, we require one of the following:

• Assessed by our pro to be a 4.0 or higher player by taking a 4.0 Skills Assessment Clinic (advanced registration required).
• Compelling evidence, from recent tournament performance. Please note, it may take up to 24 hours to validate the information, so we request you e-mail documentation to: info@usopnpc.com
  
  Through March 31, we will accept the IPTA membership card.

Once you are a verified 4.0 player, you are required to register at 4.0 or above in all NPC tournaments and leagues

RATING SESSION
If you want to play on the 4.0 courts and do not meet the criteria above, we offer rating session clinics.

• You cannot register for the rating session online, stop in the Pro Shop or phone 239-319-8640 to schedule an appointment. There is a fee.
• There is a thirty (30) day waiting period in order to retake the 4.0 skills assessment.

Please note that our NPC ratings sessions fill up quickly between October-April and there can be a 2-4 week waiting period before your scheduled session.
